..We are pleased to announce the first two major events of this year’s A Part Festival!
On 13 June, the winner of the 2025 International Emmy Award for Best Actor (the TV equivalent of an Oscar, for the drama series ‘I, Addicted’), the brilliant Spanish actor and circus artist ORIOL PLA, who, accompanied by musician Pau Matas, will present his latest show GOLA (GLUTTONY) at Pałac Młodzieży in Katowice. This is Pla’s first and only visit to Poland!

On 16 June, MARINA OTERO, one of the most important figures in global theatre and dance in recent years, will perform on stage at Teatr Korez Thin Katowice. Otero will present her latest production, entitled AYOUB, in Katowice. The performance will be staged in Poland just three times: twice at Teatr Dramatyczny in Warsaw and once during A Part Festival in Katowice.

This year, the A Part Festival will run from 12 to 21 June. We will be announcing further festival events in due course. The full programme will be published one month before the festival begins.
The festival is co-organised by Katowice City of Gardens. The Krystyna Bochenek Cultural Institution. Co-funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund. Partners: The Wojciech Korfanty Regional Institute of Culture in Katowice and the Saturn Museum in Czeladź.
The festival is held under the honorary patronage of the Mayor of Katowice, Marcin Krupa.
