International Performing Arts Festival A Part is an international review of the most interesting artistic phenomena from the area of experimental, alternative, non-verbal and innovative performing arts, taking place in Katowice in Poland.
During the thirty editions of the festival to date, leading Polish and European innovative performing arts artists and companies have performed in Katowice, including Betontanc (Slovenia), Compagnie Mossoux-Bonte (Belgium), Divadlo Continuo (Czechia), Derevo (Russia), Farma v Jeskyni (Czechia), Gledalisce Glej (Slovenia), Mladinsko Gledalisce (Slovenia), Granhoj Dans (Denmark), Kamchatka (Spain), Romeo Castelucci/Societas Raffaello Sanzio (Italy), Spitfire Company (Czechia), Teatro del Lemming (Italy), Theatre of Eight Day (Poland), Theater Titanick (Germany), The Tiger Lillies (Great Britain), Troubleyn/Jan Fabre (Belgium), United Cowboys (Netherlands), Via Negativa (Slovenia), Abattoir Ferme (Belgium), DAH Teatar (Serbia) and many others.
Festival was founded in 1994. Originator and artistic director of the festival is Marcin Herich.

15th International Theatre Festival A Part was held on 18-22 of June 2009. 13th International Theatre Festival A Part was held on 14-18 June 2007. 12th International Theatre Festival A Part was held on 15-19 June 2006.
