Special project “Extracts” is a middle scale outdoor performance – collage consisting of fragments of two spectacles “Femina” and “El Niño. Love in the Time of Anxiety”, including also autonomous, new and separate sequences.
The performance in numerous version was presented in Greece, Sweden, Croatia and Hungary. Short experimental performance entitled “Extracts” as a special project was created in first version for International Theatre Project Mindscape (with Teatr Cogitatur, 2003, Athens, Greece) and was presented three times on the Ancient Roman Agora. Second version of the show was presented two times during Kulturnatta Festival (2003, Goeteborg, Sweden). Third version was presented with Teatr A Part.
“Extracts” is the epitaph in memory of woman, the protagonist of performance “Femina”, man’s remembrance about beloved deceased. Sequences of “Extracts” are like his illness dream, full of suffering, sad, beauty and cruel. In “Extracts” the universal, ordinary and magical story of woman’s life and protagonist of this story: everywoman (it is canvas of spectacle “Femina”) was throwing in contemporary context, “world of el niño”, post-industrial perverted reality.
Like spectacles “Femina” and “El Niño” also “Extracts” is a non-verbal universal story, produced by the method of emotional composition. Stilts, water and open fire were used in the performance, without any words on the stage.
