Theater is a form of art that is based on the lively, simultaneous presence of the actor/performer and viewer in the same place and time. This is where the magic of the theater lies. Ours and yours – Viewers – interdependence, uniqueness of shared moments, coexistence in real time.
At the Teatr A Part, we have been implementing the idea of theater as an emotional meeting with the viewer for 16 years. Any attempt to transfer the theater to the Internet is in fact detrimental to this extraordinary variety of artistic anti-utopia activities. We hope to meet you again soon, either during one of our own performances or during the A Part Festival, which we have been organizing since the very beginning of our theater. Whether this happens depends largely on you.
We are an independent theater, functioning without subsidies. We operate and live thanks to your presence and our willingness to create. Therefore, during a protracted epidemic, during a trial for all of us, we ask you for support. Each amount transferred to our account will be an expression of your presence and solidarity that will help us to survive this difficult time.
We appeal to all lovers of the creativity of the Teatr A Part and our activities, as well as all those who care about the survival of independent and non-institutional culture in Poland, to provide us with any amount – according to your possibilities. Because our artistic activity and income from it have been completely stopped, and we still have to bear the administrative and living costs, we will not survive without you.
