31th International Performing Arts Festival A Part

31st International Performing Arts Festival A Part will take place from 30 May to 8 June 2025.

The programme for this year’s festival will consist of:

  • guest performances by Musaši Entertainment Company (Czechia), T.I.T.S. (Czechia, Norway), Alessandra Cristiani (Italy), Aurora Lubos, Anna Steller, Marlena Niestrój i Fundacja Paryż, Studio Wachowicz/Fret;
  • three performances by Teatru A Part: ‘Femina’, ‘The Oort Cloud’ and ‘Behind Enemy Lines’ (premiere);
  • an evening of performance art with the participation of artists from the circle of Teatr A Part (Zuzanna Łapka, Dorota Kleszcz, Agata Sokół);
  • presentation of the theatrical and video art of Dariusz Gorczyca, combined with a meeting with the artist;
  • screening of the documentary ‘Max Richter’s Sleep’, directed by Natalie Johns.

The festival’s events will take place at the Kinoteatr Rialto in Katowice, Room 211 of the Institution of Culture Katowice City of Gardens, Teatr A Part in Katowice, Teatr Korez and Teatr Korez Gallery in Katowice, in the open air (Zadole Park in Katowice, downtown Katowice) and on the forest stage of Dworek Tiferet (formerly: Art House Żarki) in Żarki near Myszków.

The festival is organised by Teatr A Part in Katowice. The main partners of the event are the City of Katowice and the Institution of Culture Katowice City of Gardens. The festival was created with the support of the Wojciech Korfanty Regional Institute of Culture (the Wojciech Korfanty Institute is a Cultural Institution of the Local Government of the Silesian Voivodeship).
