We cordially invite you to the 28th edition of the International Performing Arts Festival A Part, which will be held on June 3-12 in Katowice, Bytom and Tychy.
This year’s festival will feature: Divadlo Fras (Czech Republic), Márta Ladjánszki / Zsolt Varga (Hungary), Aleksandra Kugacz-Semerci / Mertcan Semerci (Poland, Turkey), Teatr ZAR (international), Monika Wachowicz / Jarosław Fret (Poland), Teatr Terminus A Quo (Poland), Teatr Rozbark (Poland), Teatr T.C.R. (Poland) and Teatr A Part (Poland), which will present two performances (indoor “Four More” and outdoor “Lear, Fuck!”).
During the festival, three film screenings will take place, presenting on the big screen of the Kinoteatr Rialto in Katowice records of the famous performances of the Jerzy Grotowski: “Akropolis”, “The Constant Prince” and “Apocalypsis cum figuris”. The screenings will be preceded by an introduction by Jarosław Fret, director of the Jerzy Grotowski Insttitute in Wrocław.
The festival will also include a concert by the duo Paweł Wójcik and Tomasz Sarniak.
