We invite you to the 25th jubilee edition of the International Performing Arts Festival A Part, which will be held on June 6-16 in Katowice.
During this year’s festival will perform: Granhoj Dans (Denmark), Oliver de Sagazan (France), Stefan Sing (Germany), Teatro del Lemming (Italy), The Tiger Lillies (England), United Cowboys (Netherlands), Via Negativa (Slovenia) and Arti Grabowski, Teatr Snów and Monika Wachowicz from Poland.
The program of the festival will also include a series of events “Cafe Europa”, including the international theater project “Last Days of Mankind” with the participation of the Association Arsene(France), Media Culture (Ukraine), Leith Theatre (Scotland), Plavo Pozoriste (Serbia) , The Tiger Lillies (England), Theaterlabor Bielefeld (Germany) and Teatr A Part. The project was created thanks to the support of the European Commission as part of the Creative Europe program.
Teatr A Part, celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, will also present three new performances: a spectacle for one viewer entitled “Dante Project”, an outdoor show “Lear, Fuck!” and a solo performance “The Rite of Spring.”
The festival was created with the financial support of: Katowice Miasto Ogrodów, Ministerstwo Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego and Samorząd Województwa Śląskiego.
